How do we achieve this?

Lakes Walk

Simple! We all have diverse interests and hobbies. By pooling that knowledge and using the talents and enthusiasm of our members to organise events throughout the year, our monthly club costs are kept to a minimum with no recurring monthly fees, and the events we arrange provide a rich and varied social life.

Plus an insight into the many hobbies and social events we all share.

Each member is asked to organise at least Two events a year, and many arrange more.

Our club committee will assist with some guidance, but its up to you, and your own imagination!

The club is open to both couples and singles ; we are not a dating agency.

The majority of our members are in the 30-45 year age range (an upper joining age limit of 50 years applies)

How do we Communicate?

We circulate our Bulletin to all members monthly, with a complete list of events which members have organised for the coming month.

Events can be entered into the Bulletin at a Clubnight or can be passed directly to our Social Secretary or Bulletin Editor.

Members can contact the organizer of each event directly to participate.Or can add their name to the list of participants for an event, at one of our weekly Clubnights. Where apart from being a general social event, members swap ideas for new group events in a friendly atmosphere.

When and Where do we Meet?

Clubnights are arranged at different venues each week, for variety and convenience, and are located from North to South Fylde, and inland as far as Preston.

Clubnights are every Tuesday. Every 4th Tuesday of the month we distribute the Club Bulletin with next month's events, to those who attend the Clubnight. All other members receive their copy by post.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions currently run at £25 a year for single people, and £38 a year for couples.
